Job Summary:

Avenue Industrial's Inbound Sales and Service Department is seeking a (full/part)-time Sales and Service Representative.  The successful candidate will provide resolution to service related matters, offer detailed product information, and assist customers in finding appropriate product solutions.  All interactions with our customers should exceed their expectations in responsiveness, delivery and completeness.

Responsibilities:

Enter orders, returns and resolve customer concerns and inquiries via phone
Ensure timely follow up with all customers
Offer appropriate product solutions and suggest add-on/cross sell related products
Ensure escalated customer issues are handled and resolved swiftly
Keep up to date on new products, policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and complete records of all customer interactions

Outbound calling that focuses on establishing relationships, maintaining account information, generating leads, and closing quotes

Participate in training programs

Skills:

Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written (bilingual in French and English an asset)
Detail oriented while being committed to timely resolutions for our customers
Strong customer relationship skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Must have an interest in sales, while being goal oriented and self motivated
High tolerance for a fast paced, demanding environment
Superior team skills

Exceptional organizational and efficiency skills

Punctual and reliable

High School and/or post secondary diploma

Experience:

Previous experience in an order desk, customer service, and/or inbound and outbound telephone sales in the Industrial Supply Industry would be an asset
